Burger tasted like sausage meat. The fresh new space was designed by Brisbane-based firmwith furniture and zip fixtures from and a flowing layout that incorporates the surrounding greenery and showcases the stunning view. How hard can it be to cook frozen fish and chips. Sorry again that you didn't enjoy your experience, we'd love another chance to get it right. Visit the Hiroshima XXXX Brewery on one of these great tours for an insiders view of where the magic happens, and xxxx ale house making one of Queensland's oldest beer brands that has been operating for over 135 years. Would def go back. The restaurant was amazing and Hutch was very accommodating from the between we arrived. Metered parking is very limited.
This could and should be a great venue. The staff were friendly and attentive and decor was good... Visited on 9th September 2015 for a tasting session and lunch.

The brewery is just down the hill from the train station, just a short ride from the CBD, so it was easy for us to visit. The tours are done every hour, so we had a bit of a wait ahead of us. You can't drink before the tour for liability reasons, so we just killed some time browsing in the shop. Once you start, you get a pretty full tour of the brewery, they really take you to a lot of different areas, so you see all the machines at work. You can't take pictures during the tour, though, and make sure to wear closed shoes! Afterwards, since we were on our honeymoon they surprised us with a bag of free souvenirs to take home! We then hung around the restaurant to try our free beers and get a bite to eat - try the oysters and the steak! The video jukebox is free so put on whatever you like. Made for a really fun dinner, they took us behind the bar to show us the proper way to pour their beers, as well. We had a lot of fun here, would highly recommend. Keep in mind you get to fill up a nice size glass, not the typical 2 oz. So while I wasn't expecting much after trying XXXX Gold in a bottle beforehand, the brewery trip changed my mind and was an excellent experience. We arrived later I think it was about 4 pm or so... We love beer, and we had an absolute ball. The beer is excellent. You can drink gallons of the stuff and get minimal to no hangover. My good friend, the good Lieutenant Bravo 2 even commented as well that all the beers we were drinking in Australia gave us NO hangover. I have been to many breweries and this is a very good one. They have a really nice gift shop too with a bunch of cool Tee's that we each purchased and have since wore out. We were feelin' right when we left there. Would def go back. We have been to XXXX brewery twice. The first time was for a brew tour followed by BBQ dinner when we has a friend visiting. The tour is very professional an you get to see the whole process from the fermentation tanks to the packaging. With a few beers and BBQ to finish. The second time was just lunch again with out of towners and a pitcher of specialty brew. Food was great - sweet potato fries were especially yummy: all reasonably priced and good- nothing mind blowing, just good.
